What are the age groups?

Lower Boys - Ages 10-11

What if my player has a birthday during the season?

Your player must move up if his/her birthday would put him in a different age division.

Example: your player is 9 during registration but turns 10 during the season, they must play in the 10-11 yr. old Lower Division.

What paperwork do I need?

We have online Pre-Registration to give your player their spot before each age group fills up, located at http://TCBasketball.rampregistrations.com.

Completing the online registration will save on time and paper as it is several pages need to be completed, and waiting until the night of evaluations does not guarantee your player will have a spot.

How Do I make my Payment?

We do online registration, however we do not take payment on the website.
Zelle rance@treasurecoastbasketball.com 175.00$ is required to secure your player's spot when completing your registration. Please send player's name in the notes section when making your payment.
If you register but do not complete payment or come to the evaluations, your player will NOT be drafted to a team. You can pay with a check or Credit Card on your Evaluation Night as well.
When registering online, make sure you select the correct age group and shirt size. If nothing is selected, it defaults to 6-7 age group and YM shirt.

What if I cannot make the date of the Evaluations?

PLAYERS MUST ATTEND EVALUATIONS OR BE SEEN BY A DIRECTOR BEFORE THE DRAFT. If arrangements are not made prior to the draft, we cannot draft them to a team and a refund will be issued.

Can I make Requests for my player to be on a certain night or with another player?

You can give us your request only on the night of Evaluation, however we cannot guarantee anything. We will write it in the notes and do our best.

How many times a week, what days of the week and where is practice?

Practice is held once a week for 1 hr. any time between 6-9 Monday - Thursday inside any of the following Gyms: Hidden Oaks Middle School, Murray Middle School, Anderson Middle School, Stuart Middle School or The Boys and Girls Club in Hobe Sound.

****Coaches pick the practice night that fits their schedule before the season even starts. Many coaches will have a second practice outside on the outdoor courts at Hidden Oaks Middle School during the week.

Will the practice nights change?

Practice nights could change due to availability of the gym your practice is held in. Schools do have functions that supersede our league bookings. Most of the time, the coach will decide to just practice on the outside courts on your normal day and time.

When, where and what time are the games?

Games are held mostly on Saturdays, but you may have a few weeknight games depending on the availability of Saturday Gym Space. Youngest age group will get the early games (6 and 7 yr olds) at Hidden Oaks Middle School (HOMS) start at 8am and will be scheduled every hour up until 6pm.

Games held at Anderson Middle (AMS), Stuart Middle (SMS), Murray Middle School (MMS) or the Cole-Clark Boys and Girls Club (B&G) are usually the Middle Division, JV and Varsity. Their games are scheduled anytime between 8:30 and 6:30 start time on Saturday, with some weeknight games as well.

Playoff games are held during the week for all teams to determine who plays for Championship Day

When does the season start and end?

All dates can be viewed by clicking the Calendar tab on our website treasurecoastbasketball.com. You can navigate it from month to month. Calendar is updated at the start of each season. Everything from the Evaluation dates to Championship Day are listed.

Is this a try out or does everyone make a team?

Evaluation time is to get a rating on the players so we can draft them to balance the teams as much possible. Each coach will draft the team that night as soon as the players are finished being rated, and they have all left the gym.
You should be contacted within a few days following the Evals by your coach with your practice night and time.
